DT Solution Wins Samsung Heavy Industries Project Management System Phase 2 Build
In August 2023, DT Solution signed a contract for the second-phase build of the project management system for the High-Tech business division of Samsung Heavy Industries.
Why it was needed
As the schedule- and cost-management foundation built in Phase 1 saw real use on site, demand naturally followed for broader scope and more refined processes. A PMS isn't a one-and-done build — its value grows when it is advanced in stages, incorporating real-usage feedback. Samsung Heavy Industries' High-Tech division needed a Phase 2 build to further extend and refine its project-management framework.
How it was adopted
Building on the Phase 1 results, DT Solution carried out a Phase 2 build that extended the scope and processes of the Primavera Unifier-based project-management system, designing and implementing additional workflows and business processes on top of the standards established in Phase 1.
